In 2005, God began to burden Bro. Dorr's heart about establishing a church in Guaymitas, a village just a mile outside the city of Navojoa, Sonora. In November of that year, after a month of prayer, God allowed him and his family to start Providence Baptist Church. God has richly blessed and the church now has faithful attenders from 14 different villages and towns in the Mayo River Valley.
The greatest vision and thrust of the Church is to is to win and train Christian leaders that God could use to establish churches. God has blessed this Church with an orphanage, a Christian school and a Bible Institute. Please pray with us that God would use this ministry for His honor and glory!
